First Book Published

B.J. Alexander is my sister, and her cherished dream was to be a published author. Sadly, she died before achieving that dream, but her family and I are doing it for her. This blog is a way for us to remember her, to introduce her writing, and to report on progress in getting her books to a wider audience.  - Patricia Rockwood

BJ's first book, "Whispers Through the Aspens," is now available on Amazon. I formatted it through their remarkably easy-to-use program CreateSpace. Here is a brief description of the book:

The Legend of Camden was only a tourist attraction until the death of a guest breathed life into a ghost.  Then a boy disappeared …

Will Adler has worked as the head wrangler at the Aspen Valley Guest Ranch for four years.  He and his young son, Cody, share a love for the Rockies and the ghost town of Camden which lies close to the summit of Echo Peak.  

When a young guest is found dead at the base of a cliff when no one knew she was missing, and a lawsuit threatens the ranch, Will begins to question his competence.   Then a woman arrives and eventually admits only to him that she’s the dead girl’s sister.  Will is unsure of Robyn’s motives; is she there only to try and make sense of a tragedy or does she have an ulterior plan that could further devastate the ranch?          

Then Cody disappears on the same mountain and a terrified Will is forced to face his own demons and to trust Robyn, who becomes a willing partner in search of the same answers—does the Legend  of Camden really exist and will he kill again before they can find him?
